Assistant Site Manager
37 hours per week, all year round – Permanent
Grade E, Points 13-19, £17,391-19,446 per annum

Bettridge is looking to appoint an honest, reliable and committed individual to fill this post. The post holder will be required to work under the line management of the Business Manager and Site Manager to assist with general maintenance, safety and security of the school grounds, vehicles and buildings. The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team is essential. The role is physically demanding and includes working both indoors and outdoors so you will need to be fit and healthy.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to utilise their competent DIY skills and develop further to become part of a friendly and hardworking team.
Your duties will be 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, all year round, between 8.00am – 5.00pm, with some flexibility within those hours. These will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
School experience is preferred but not essential – this is an opportunity for someone who has an interest in property maintenance, is practical, has initiative and a willingness to learn as there will be training for a large range of high tech building equipment such as sprinkler systems, under floor heating, electro-magnetic doors, etc. The school has a hydrotherapy pool that requires skilled maintenance for which training will also be given. The post holder will be required to be a back-up for 24 hour emergency call out.
