Bettridge is delighted to be taking part in an international project with SEN schools from Poland, The Netherlands and Malta. The project, funded through the Erasmus Scheme aims to improve ICT provision within those schools and to share techniques and resources, as well as developing online resources which can be used by other schools throughout the EU.
To date we have installed 2 new technologies in school:
Optimusic: A light beam switch operated system which allows our learners to produce their own music through body movements and sequencing of sounds.
Omnidu: An app which allows us to create audio-visual slides and interactive learning activities for use across all ICT platforms in the school.
To make the most of these technologies, some of our staff have so far completed two multinational training events – here in Cheltenham in July 2018 and in Malta in January 2019. Two more are planned for Poland later this year and The Netherlands in early 2020.
